Hi, I am 27 years old and I am pregnant. It is a third month of my pregnancy and I am trying everything to be in a healthy environment. Still, from time to time I am in a company of smokers (although just for a short while and it is always outdoors) but I still feel nauseous when I sense the smoke. Is it possible to be allergic to nicotine smoke?
Yes it is, but that does not necessary mean that you have that kind of allergy. I want to say that you just might be a bit too sensitive to all types of things because of your pregnancy, including a cigarette smoke. If you did not have any problem wit nicotine before the pregnancy then most likely you are not allergic to it. Still, that can be easily checked with an allergen test. Until that, try avoiding nicotine smoke.
