isotretion during breastfeed is safe or not....
Hello, shipi: I did some research on my own, but I can't see that there are any studies stating whether isotetion could be execreted through the breastmilk. However, it causes serious birth defects when a pregnant mother uses it so I would suggest NOT using it while breastfeeding. I always say, "better safe than sorry!" Perhaps your doctor can find something for you to use until you are done breastfeeding. Are there any isotretin users out there that used it while breastfeeding? Did it affect the baby any? Are there any other prescriptions or medications that can be used in the meantime that wouldn't harm the baby?
