I had the same issue. It started as just itchy, then after a while, soft thin flakes would peel from my labia. Totally freaked me out. My doctor diagnosed it as a yeast infection on the skin, similar to "jock itch"....He said, that women, especially if we are a bit overweight, are as prone to dampness in those areas that breeds fungal infections. I treated it with Lotrimin Jock itch cream and saw improvement immediately. I used the cream for a little over a month, because the directions said to. It flared up again this summer, after a day swimming at the beach.....and I immediately used the Lotrimin again, and again, it worked. My Doctor said that "jock itch" is mildly contagious, so be careful of sharing towels, and or wash cloths, etc.

Me too...I was taking two anti biotics for bacteria vaginosis and one that was for my swollen lymph node. It started itching the last 3-4 days I took them. There is skin peeling off and it is moist skin so when I wipe with a tissue it rolls off. It itches and burns. I am not sexually active and never have been.

Okay its called HPV. All the symptoms that you guys are stating associate with that. These is nothing wrong with that is what the doctor will say. If you wash down there with water alot also this means that you have neutralize the acidity of your vagina. So what happen is bacteria from your underwear gets to stay and play area the vagina and inside. Tell your doctor about this he will put some artificial vagina acid that will help kill the baterias and stop the smell and smelly discharge. ( no sex, toys or tampons for a month) :(
