Its been a whole year and its not gone away...

Hello! About a year and a half ago, before the end of summer, I had tripped over a protruding tree root and had gotten a Hematoma (what the doctor said it was). Now, being 1 yr and a half later, I still have this large mass on my thigh. When given a bump or poked, a sharp stinging feeling is absent. It is very annoying. Its not small either.. its about the size of a baseball. Please tell me if this is abnormal :c...
