Unlikely but could be Burkitts lymphoma. Doesn't hurt to get it checked out

I dont want to scare you but you need to see a endocronologist and probably order a painess ultra sound check of your kneck.  This can be caused by lympnodes in your kneck being enlarged which could be the sign of disease and/or cancer.  DONT PUT THIS OFF TRUST ME!

this makes the most sense. I tested positive for sulfite allergies.

I recently started getting jaw pain when I drink alcohol, and just thought I should mention that I am allergic to sulfa... just wanted to state that because I don't think it's a coincidence after reading this comment

Try Vitamin C pills or a large glass of orange juice whenever you feel the pain begin .

I just tried this with the Emergency Vitamin C packets. Totally worked. It has to be the acid neutralizing whatever is going on in the glands. Thank you!

I'm allergic to sulfa drugs and when I drink whine or vodka sometimes my jaw will hurt but it doesn't occur every time. It's very painful! I will have to see if vodka has high sulfates???

I have this happen to me as well, like one user said it occurs when I'm drinking alcohol ..usually MGD, but NOT EVERY TIME, which I think is kind of strange. I, as far as I know am also allergic to sulpha based drugs. I have never been properly tested to the allergy but when I was a kid I remember I had to take some sort of medicine for something ( it was a looong time ago) and every time I took a spoonful without fail about 10 seconds later I would throw it up, the doctor said it was likely an allergic reaction to sulpha.

This is the first response on here that has made sense! I'm allergic to sulfa drugs and this tends to happen (as I document what drinks cause this) when I drink particular red wines. Interesting!
