Hello everyone

I've recently started running longer distances. I use to do a mile or two for general exercise. Now I'm doing about 3 to 4 miles about 4 times a week and 6 miles 2 days out of the week. I've been on this track for about a month. I've also ran 2 10k's since. My first 10k(Longhorn run Austin,Tx) time is Gun: 50:15 Chip: 50:08. My second 10k(Houston green 6.
2) time was Gun: 51:35.7 Chip: 50:36.2 I really want to get under 50 minutes in a 10k. I was wondering how I should be going about it to get there?
