i have had the exact same thing, i was really worried that i was the only person that had this and have been very self consious about it. i am sexually active and worried that my boyfriend can feel it too so i feel embarrsed. should i get it checked out or is it just my cervix? its quite big and about a finger up but doesnt hurt and is soft, also has a little dip/hole type thing at the tip. its been there for a while but sometimes diffrent positions can feel it more obvious that others. can anyone help me with what it is, really confused?
I am so glad that I found this. I just recently became sexually active with my boyfriend and I decided that if he is going to explore my body, I may as well know what he is exploring. So, when I found this "lump" inside myself, I became really concerned not only about what it was, but about what my boyfriend would think of it. He hadn't said anything about it, and I thought he might've just been being polite by not saying anything... I'm so glad to know what it is, and I'm especially glad that it's something that every female has :)
I've thought the exact same things, I'm 16, and still a virgin, technically. But I guess it's just your cervix, but because of this I'm kind of self conscious about having sex. I'm afraid to let guys finger me, because I think that it's not normal and that if I do, some guy will say something about it and make me feel even worse about it or that it will gross them out or something :/ I want to be sexually active especially with my boy friend, but I'm just afraid :/
Having a cervix is certainly normal and they aren't all the same. I expect most guys would love the opportunity to feel and play with yours. I love playing with my wife's. Hers usually feels like the end of a small tube that is kind of firm. But sometimes it's soft and squishy. She likes it when I circle it with my finger tip but not too hard and sometimes I can push my finger tip into it a bit but sometimes she doesn't like that.
If any guy says yours is strange it's because he's inexperienced.

exactly, ive been contemplating going in there with a knife and cutting it off, like, of all the things we learn in school, 3/4 of it doesnt matter, and yet people are missing all this stuff, imagine wat guys are worried about????? i had my own theory on it being scar tissue and i just wish there had been someone to tell me all this.

I have the same thing as well!! Whenever I finger myself I can feel the cervix and everyime I finger myself it feel like it is moving and I put my hand on my lower stomach and I feel something moving in there.. Is that normal? I'm only 15 and still a virgin

I also have this but it started just after i started to take birth control. I have had sex many times and have never felt it until now when i fingered myself.. if i stop taking my birth control will it go away?
