Epsom salt. I also have a lot of acne on my back and chest because I have very oily skin. (That's what Greek and French heritage does to you :) ) Don't use prescription drugs, Accutane, etc. - it will only harm your body. I dissolve Epsom salt into a spray bottle and rub it on my chest and back twice a day...and it works miracles!! However, your acne may get worse before it gets better because the Epsom salt brings out any impurities in your pores. Although it may take a few months to completely clear, it's worth it. For those really nasty behemoth pimples (you know what I'm talking about), hydrogen peroxide or witch hazel works wonders :) Good luck!!

I suffer from this and I'm 37!  I have found the main causes to be alcohol, sugar and stress.  Reduce the consumption of alcohol and sugar.  Find out what is causing you stress and try to deal with it in a constructive way and stop avoiding it.  Do go the doctors about it as I have been found to have a super high thyriod problem.  The meds given to me to treat that seemsed to help but they are not meant for constant consumption.  Improve the diet and del with stress, go to the docs.

Acne is difficult to deal with because there are too many causes. Some drink milk and nothing happen some will have bad reaction. Ok these are the things that can make acne worse, just see which one is yours.
1. Hydrogenated fats,margarine,(in your french fries) all the highly processed cooking oils( corn oil, sunflower seeds oil etc, that had Hexane (a poison chemical) treated during the
processing. Read up on eating oil processing you will be shocked, you are being poison with the government keeping mum about it because the big corporation control the government. Don't believe? Why is government not informing the citizens about this? Oh, it's harmless they say. Really? (a good government is a dead government- you will believe this after you found more things they did to do you in and they walk around as if it's a natural thing to do)
2. Sugars in any form (sweet fresh fruits -especially tropical fruits) in your cereals the worst kind with corn syrup added without you knowing it comes under other names. Just don't eat cereals unless it is not processed.
3. Coffee because the beans are roasted in magarine or some fats not good for you. Roast your raw coffee beans without fats you will love it and never touch those package on the shelf again. Do not burn the coffee beans black otherwise you will be drinking ashes plus hot water.
4. Carbohydrates stuffs, like rice. pasta, bread, cakes, it is difficult to avoid because you will miss them and not feel full if you don't eat them but practice will make it ok, eat less and less over a period of time and you can finally eat very little .
5. Fasting will help but you need experienced people to guide you otherwise you wouldn't succeed or you may end up in hospital because you conk out (fainted) due to low blood sugar. Fasting though difficult to do but probably the most effective to clear the skin. No doubt about it. Try to get informations and form a support group among your good friends and do it together to ensure success and more fun that way. Fasting alone by yourself takes great determination and it's a lonely business.
