I’m only very young still, and guessing from most of the comments on this page, that my puffy areolas are just because my breasts aren’t fully developed yet. If my puffy areolas stay like this I hope my future sexual partner will love them and I will hopefully not be embarrassed by them and want to keep them just the way they are. If I don’t have my puffy areolas in the future, I will be perfectly fine with that too. I am just very self conscious about my breasts. I thought I was the only one, because I’m the only one in my family when not wearing a bra, you can see my puffy-ness showing through my shirt. Everybody else in my family has just that tiny little baby dot showing through there shirts. I want to thank you all for writing what you did and not making me feeling like the only person on the planet with puffy areolas. I also want to I guess thank you all again for making me not feel bad about my body, and not wanting me to change my body while I was reading but all of y’all’s comments. (I don’t know if y’all’s is grammatically correct.) Thank you, love you all!

If you find the right guy he won't care. As a matter of fact the right guy will most likely find them attractive because he loves everything about you including what's underneath your clothing. There are worse issues you could face that could be a deal breaker so embrace what you have. Btw, I have always thought those type of breasts are sexy and cute not to mention rare. Don't change a thing and it can be a great indicator you've met Mr. right. If he runs for the hills because your puffy breasts embarrass him he's Mr. wrong. If he accepts what you have and loves them he is Mr. right. Trust me, he is out there waiting to embrace all you have to give including your breasts just like you need to embrace them yourself. I have puffy nipples and i was self concious about it until the guys i was with were in love with them. i had the same self confidence issues about them with my now husband and he says he LOVES my boobs and everything about them.

Actually, I know a little t of guys are saying it’s a turn on and that might be true but if you don’t like them there may be a way for you to correct them. Puffy nipples/ areolas can be a result from too much sugar in your diet. If you cut out sugar long term you may see a change. This is what I did. You don’t have to, though. As everyone else is saying different men like different things. Find a man that fall in love with who you are and none of that petty stuff will matter to them. My ex boyfriend had the teeniest tiniest nipples I’d ever seen and I still dated that guy. I should mention we broke up for totally unrelated reasons.

Puffy aroelas have nothing to do with being stuck in a stage of development, just like every part of us is different to another person the same goes for breasts, some have inverted nipples some flat nipples some are constantly erect an a rarity are puffy aroelas/nipples, to find a woman with them is exciting to a guy like finding a pot of gold, be proud of your gift you have been given.

thank you for replying - I am learning to accept my breast. I was just wondering as my nipples are sometimes puffy but when cold or irritated they become erect which is why I asked about them being in a stage of development. If you have any answers that would be great - thanks again

How do you mean by sometimes puffy, erect nipples are normal when cold, during sexual arousal, stimulated or they chafe on clothes, what are they like when not in either of those two stages?

when not in those stages (I don't really know how to explain) I don't have a prominent nipple (in the sense that the nipple falls back into the areola) and they become flat and tear drop shaped - Im not sure if that explained it - what does this mean?
