thank god i found this! i first slept with my bf in the dec of 2011 we were save using condoms extra safe ones of that, the month of dec i had a normal 5 day bleed. Never ever on time with my bleeds always all over the place, in Jan 2012 i found that i did not have a period but i had this known brown discharge now i am worrying like hell. My period was due on the 12th now it's the 21st. I am only 12 and i am not sexually active. I've been having stomach aches and getting clear discharge. Truthfully, I've always been getting clear discharge during parts of the months even before i've gotten periods. I have a short cycle (last period was 6 days early) and my periods are never more than a few days late. My mother and sister have had irregular periods where they would skip a month or two before getting their next period. My periods were always regular even though i've only been getting them for about a year. What's wrong with me?

On New Years, I had unprotected sex, the next day I went to get a plan B pill, I then had my period in the next week. This month it's been brown discharge for a few days, I'm two days late......I woke up this morning with a headache, and nausea cause I could really smell. hey all,im in abit of a dilemma,im 26yrs old slim healthy , and hav 2 kids already i have a normal 28/29 day cycle, ive been tryin 4 a baby 4 the last 3 months, im now 4 days over my period, took a preg test 2days ago, was negative, i had no other sign apart frm slight period pains, this morning i had a bit of brown blood which i thought was my period but its stopped, is there still a chance i could be pregnant? is there any1 eles out there experiancing the same problem?....x

yes i had the same symptoms, i have since 6 months regular periods, and every time i got spotting for 2-3 days then my actual period come.Now i am taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid too, and planning for a baby, so my last period was 26th jan, then we had a sex on 14 th jan. and now my periods suppose to came on 26th feb, but it delayed or???then after 5 days 2nd march i had some brown discharge, all day long, in a very small amount, and have pain all the time at right side lower abdomen, i don't know what is this going on? am i pregnant or it is just my regular periods??Really confused?? Did a home pregnancy test on 1st march it came negative.

I am 24 and mother to a gorgeous baby boy who is 8 months old. When i was pregnant with him i had no implant bleeding or random discharge, just felt like i was pregnant so did a test and it was positive. I suffered from HG through the whole pregnancy which is severe sickness which is caused due to high hormone levels.
Now i am 2 months late, my periods came back normal after i gave birth. My last period was end of December, i had unprotected sex with my fiance on 26th January and it is now 6th March.
At first i had strange feelings in my lower stomach and was really hungry all the time. I am tired constantly and the past 2 weeks have been having a slight brown discharge and when i wipe there is a tiny bit of mucusy blood once a day. Surely it is too late for implantation bleeding???
I took 2 urine preg tests and both negative. I am really confused as with my previous pregnancy i had all the symptoms. Currently i have swollen/sore breasts but no sign of my period. I have a doctors appointment on 13th March so will update you all!

Hi there, I know this isn't as frequently updated as it was a year ago, however I'm freaking out. I'm still in high school and have been sexually involved with my fella for a long time now. I have experienced similar symptoms and am in severe need to know what to do. It's been a month since I was supposed to start my period (around that time I experienced the light spotting/brown coloration) , 2 months practically since my last real one. I am concerned, and fearful. Would someone mind helping me out here? I'm taking a trip to the clinic tomorrow for a pregnancy test and from there determining a doctor's visit, but if anyone would to reply me with help/advice, that would be greatly appreciated!

I am due for my "real" period any day now. I have been having all of the pregnancy symptoms you spoke of and am now (as well as yesterday) have horrid headaches and brown discharge only when I wipe. I had a blood test done today but will not have the results back for another 3 days. Urine pregnancy tests have all came up negative thus far...what is your thought?

Okay, I'm not overly worried but I had brown spotting a week before my period was due ( I'm on bc). I'm about3-4 days into my sugar pills and the brown has basicly completely stopped. My fluid is clear when i should be bleeding. lol
I think that I may have bypassed my period this month....I thought once I started to take the sugar pills that i would bleed right way, so thats where my pregnacy worries come from.
I think it's because I doubled up too often on my pills. At least I hope that's why. lol
However I've read from many younger women who are afraid of the brownspotting. I normally get brown spotting when my period first starts up and when it ends. Don't worry too much if you're not 7 days late. Most likely your period is coming through.
