Late period, brown spotting, mucous and hint of confusion.

hi everyone. while I'm not saying you are not pregnant, there are chances that because you've missed your period there was blood that you still had in your lining. I have had the same symptoms and am not pregnant. it turned out to just be my lining shedding and because I was late it was a brown colour. Happy to know other women are going through similar things as me. I am not 18 days late. And for two mornings now, when I first wake up and use the bathroom, there is pink spotting only when I wipe (nothing for the rest of the day). And this afternoon, I was running a bunch of errands and again when I wiped it was pink/brown and then stopped. I haven't taken a test yet. But it appears as though I should. Any thouhgts?

It's great to know I'm not alone! I have had irregular periods for some time since I have gotten off BC, one month I had it for a week and then off and then on again for another week, being extremely late for the first week period! I had unprotected sex about a month ago, but he did not come inside me which I know it can still happen. I'm five, going on six, days late for my period. Just today I did notice an odd brown mucos when I wiped in the restroom, lately it was only clear or slightly clouded like it usually is before my period. I have also had other PMS symptoms like moodiness and bloating. I'm not sure what is going on, but I'm not ready for whatever it is if I do test positive.

Hi, thanks for sharing your story. Yours most relates to mine right now. My mirena was removed on 8/14/2014 and I started bleeding on 08/17, bleed for 2 weeks off and on. So I was expecting my next period 09/17. It never came. I took a hpt on 09/18 and negative. I took another on 09/20 and negative. I still have not had my period but I have been having a mucus light brown discharge. I don't understand what my body is doing but I have one more pregnancy test I am taking on 10/01 pending my period is still off. If I get another negative I'll have to f/u with a doctor.

Talk about mixed emotions!

Its been about 4-5 days since my missed period! Last night I was using the bathroom an when i wiped some brown slimmy stuff came out! I thought it might of been my period but that same night I went to chang my pad an nothing was on it same thing this morning and the evening. I dont hace tender breast but i do feel mood and a little nasues...

Is it toearly to take a preagnacy test? When should I take one?

Hi.. my period 13 days late.. i been having light brown spotting for passed 4 days. No blood clot. 4 hcg test came negative. Been feeling very tired this few days. Been trying for a 2nd child. No tender breasts. There is 1 of the day which i have frequent passing urine. Tummy bloating. Anyone having same problem?

Hcg if your hormone is high its is easy to detect. But if its low, its become negative.

Hi i would like to know the same if anyone can give you answers. I am now 14 day's past due for my period and just had some brown discharge my breasts have been tender and a couple of days ago i had what looked like a piece of snot with blood in it when i wiped i only remember that ever happening when i was pregnant with my daughter altho i have taken multiple tests over the past 2 weeks all still negative if i don't get my period soon then i will be going to the docs for a blood test.

hi everyone im 19 and i am going through the same thing as everyone else. i am 15 days late had spotting only 1 day nd i was 4 days late at the time but not the only that has changed is that my boobs feel much fullier nd my face is puffy. i took 3 test nd all 3 came back negative but thw line was very faint. can anyone tell me if i might be pregnant ?

Have had the same thing going on BUT I do have my tubes tied. My ulta sounds showed me having Cysts on my overies that can cause spotting after your period. Maybe before as well, not sure. I recently went the low low carb diet route and that seems to always affect/change my periods. Medication can also have a huge affect on your cycle as well. Hope this helps.

hi well im 27 years old ive been feeling so weird headache lower back pain tired constant and the last 2 days ive had a brown stringy mucus which is quite horrible then yesturday i went to toilet and sound horrible but a long string thick looks like egg white with pink/red streak of blood done hpt and negative went to doc they said could be infection tho i have no pain down their at all no itchy no rash nothing so dont know anyone any advice ive also have kids n never experianced this bf any help plz
