I was taken out in a side-on collision playing rugby. The injury caused a stiff shoulder everyday after exercise, so stiff i was unable to pass a rugby ball as the pain was too much. To begin with i had a Steroid injection which failed to work. I've recently had a subacromial decompression done on my left shoulder- 8 months after the injury. I am now 4 months post operation and i still have trouble with the head of my left collarbone lifting out at the chest end when my left arm is raised out infront of me and pointed up to the sky. I am seeing the consultant next month with little confidence of a solution. The injury is preventing me from playing rugby and as a 17 year old it's quite annoying. Pec major stretching hasn't worked, but the collarbone doesn't lift out when i am relaxed and my arm is lifted for me. Anyone any thoughts?

Look up Dr Peter millett , orthopedic in Colorado. He knows how to deal with these injuries.
