Is this nerve damage common? What can be done to control the pain? Are there any treatments to help the nerve damage? Thank you.
I too, am suffering from nerve damage after hip surgery. It has been six months later and my surgeon has said to give it more time, up to a year. He gave me a drug to take to minimize the pain, but it made me feel discionnected and moody. Ieven was getting severe headaches, so I stopped taking it. A few years ago I had shingles very bad with nerve damage. The pain I am getting in my hip is very similar to what I experienced with shingles. Any information u can give me would be appreciated.
