I'm 17 and currently have swelling on the left side of my pelvic area under my belly area but there is no pain. The swelling showed up about 3 weeks ago about a week before my period came. So I know I'm not pregnant because my period came after the swelling started. It has not gone down at all but the swelling has slightly increased. If the swelling hasn't gone down by the end of next week I'm going to see my doctor but I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this swelling without pain and knows any possible causes. I have seen posts on here with similar swelling but there was also bad pains with it so I'm not sure it would be the same things as those cases.
Did you get the answer for your problem cause I'm having the same issue with no pain?
If you bend over or cough and it hurts then you do have a inguinal hernia.
