Could it have been from intercourse

Does this pain feel like a deep sore ? Kind of like a bruise ? And it's near the opening of the vagina ? When touched it feels like a ball of build up tissue ?

The same thing just happened to me! I noticed it one night in the shower. I think it's the muscle right under my left labia majora. It's either swollen or bulging from where ever it's suppose to be. I'm not sure if it'll go back on it own or if I need to go get it checked out. It doesn't hurt which is why I'm not really sure what's going on.

I am so relieved that I saw this. Thought it was something way more serious than it actually is. I've been using a hot compress, taking baths and ibeprophen to soothe the pain. It's going down and loosing the hard feeling to it. Excercise was, what I am almost certain, caused it. I wish you luck with yours!

I had the painful round things and my doc said it was a barthalons cyst or something like that. Said if it didn't get better would need to be drained. Call your Gynocologist asap. Hope his helps!

I know this was a long time ago but wanted to see if you had received answers from your doctor about this, as I am experiencing something similar

I had this and suffered from it for about 5 years. Its bartholins gland cyst. Can turn into an abcess and thats what causes the excruciating pain! I finally was able to have a word catheter placed to have it drain and kept it for a month and ever since ive never suffered from this again! Ive heard some people dont get it as often like how bad it was for me. If thats the case, just do sits bath and itll drain on its own. But from my experience,it will never FULLY drain on its own that way. Its best to see a doctor. I used to just get it drained by my doctor but a few months later it would come back, ughhh!!! Until finally that word catheter is what worked! I know a lot about all this so if you have any questions ill be happy to help!

If you have a lump anywhere around your vulva or any unusual discomfort 'down there', go to your gyno & get it checked. It could be 1 of several things,. As a result of too exercising too strenuously, i have some pelvic floor problems, which sound like what some of you are going through ( except the lump& that needs to be checked for vulvullar cancer. for either , your gyno can best help you.

I have the same problem doctor said first he thought it was a hyrnia, but then said a pulled or torn muscle.Gave me codine for 20 days. Sometimes the swelling goes down and it doesn't hurt as much. But I find that if I put a knee brace on or wrap my upper left thigh not to tight it helps the swelling stay down. It also helps me walk and sit with less pain.During sex it is painful but not so much when my keg is wrapped. But now I have to have it wrapped day and night otherwise it hurts really bad. I have been like this for one year. Doctors said it would heal in a few months but its been a year and still in a lot of pain.
