How often do you leave some decisions upon your kids? I think that it is important that you let your kid do something on their own from time, to time, it should be good for them... Perhaps this is not something that is written in child care books, but I am not sure how to build my kids self confidence otherwise.
Well, like it or not, the will start doing things on their own, sooner or later. So I guess it is the parent who has to be prepared for the moment his kid starts showing its individuality. I guess that what has been done in the upbringing up to that moment is what will be the good part of that individuality. All that can be done then are some minor corrections…
