My mom, who is 83, went to Lifestyle Lift for a consultation but never had any work or procedures done.
A month later, we started getting collections calls, and we got an invoice in the mail from a company named CareCredit for $7689.99.
Lifestyle Lift had opened an account in her name and charged the money against the account. My mom, not really knowing what it was for was going to just pay it off. The account is overdue now, so of course this is all recorded on her credit report.
What a nightmare. I cant help thinking about other older people they might be ripping off in this way....

I'm stunned to hear that she was charged so much for the consultation and that's not okay. Do you think that you could have the debt settled out of court?

Hi there, who was the plastic surgeon that you were able to go to instead? I would like to take note of it if you can. Thank you !! :)

Too many unhappy patients?? Is that why their patient satisfaction level is 97.8%?
No it is not 97.8 now but it is down to 71%. After getting their hands slapped for cyber posing all over the internet (by their own emploeyees) on different boards about how great the LSL is, maybe someday it will be down to 97%! They had to pay $300,000 fine to settle with NYC.

I hadn't heard anything about this!! Has someone reported it to the BBB or something? I think that it's considered a questionable business practice by law and it sounds like they were properly slapped down. Is there lots of documentation of this?
BTW, BBB has been notified by many women/men and they have made suggestions as to how LSL could change wording, etc. and none of the suggestions have been used or made. Once you sign on the dotted line, that is it. They have your money and that is what seems to be important to them. Many women have not been able to contact their doctors after the procedure or to even receive a phone call returned, some with serious issues and questions. It is your face and you only have ONE!
Thanks very much for all of the warnings. I am sure that a lot of people will appreciate it. I'm not sure if I reclal but did you actually have a bad experience with them? Let me know if you can. Thanks!
Yes, I had a terrible experience that lasted for 8 months until I found a reputable American Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that came highly recommended. (I also saw two other Plastic Surgeons before I found this one.) My results were NOT good, unevenly cut eyes that did not fall into the crease of my eyes, LONGER ears + the pain behind my ears that was unrelenting. Scars behind my ears and in front. Just too much to tell but I will say this... if LSL were giving them away for free, I would run in the other direction. I cannot say that all of their doctors are bad, I believe that the procedure itself is flawed. They (LSL) do not address any of the down side(s) except in mice type that is hidden in layers and layers of type. I was told that I was a perfect candidate. The one year guarantee is not worth the paper it is printed on. I cannot stress enough for women and men that are making a decision to have this lift done from watching a commercial, please at least get two other opinions.

I am so glad I read this. I have been saving my money for either a lifestyle lift or a smimming pool. Guess I will be swimming this summer. :-)
The group name is Prima Plastic Surgeons, located in Duluth, GA. Dr. Ziwren is the physicians name. He is great, he took the time to fully explain what he would be doing to try to repair what had been done to me, alleviated my fear after being traumatized by LSL. It is the difference between hamburger and filet mignon. The main thing to remember is to do your research. You only have one face and after it is screwed up, too late. It is well worth the extra money to do it right the first time. LSL is not even JACHO certified and the Operating Rooms are not gram negative. I wish you well.
DONT DO IT!! It was terrible. Just the worst thing I could ever imagine. Go to a good plastic surgeon, with great credentials. Also, get anesthesia! These clinics do not give anesthesia, and the pain and process is INHUMANE while being awake!!!
Do not give up, you MUST DISPUTE THIS CLAIM! Get in touch with their main headquarters, and get a Lawyer to write a letter if you need to. They are just hoping you will pay, they have No Right to charge for procedures not done. Be grateful your mom did not have it done, it was totally INHUMANE!
