Hi! I've got a problem with extreme light sensitivity. I can't walk outside even if its cloudy without having to wear sunglasses and still swuint my eyes. Any light bulb brighter than 60watt hurts my eyes, as well as more than 20 mins in front of a computer/tv. I absolutely can not drive at night or when headlights are needed because I am literally blinded by the lights. I get such bad 'halos' around lights that I can't see thing. I wear a low prescription glasses normally. I also suffer (for over 12 years) from frequent and dehibilitating migraines and insomnia. As soon as I get insurance again I am going back to get new glasses, but I want to know how any one else deals with this? I want to be able to see to drive and wondering if tinted lenses (like transitions?) might help.. And what works for migraines? Chocolate helps lessen the pain very slightly, I've tried fiorcet, tylenol, motrin, aleve, aspirin, and I've tried ambien (sometimes sleeping the pain off helps), percocets and vicoden. Nothing makes them go away. - know this is pretty scattered but if anyone could offer their insights and what works any anything about the light sensitivity would be great! Thanks.
I experience the exact same problems with light sensitivity, insomnia and extreme migraines. I'm at the end of my rope with this. I happened upon this forum and may not check back promptly, if you could email me any insight, that would be appreciated. Also, I wonder if this is posted in the right place, on my screen it says it's under Tanning, Sunburns and Sweating Disorders.
Have you guys had any luck in finding relief from your light sensitivity? I have extreme light sensivity and migraines and can barely function outdoors anymore.
