I have never had any sexual problems when masturbating, but I recently started doing sexual stuff with my girlfriend, and sometimes, especially when I'm on my back and she's giving me oral sex, I get very lightheaded, my hands start tingling, and I lose my erection, even though I'm really attracted to her and enjoying what she's doing. In fact . . . it only seems to happen when I'm really enjoying it and I'm getting close to coming, which makes it very frustrating. Intense emotion can affect narcolepsy. Narcolepsy is often undiagnosed until a person is in their thirties because they have narcolepsy without cataplexy. This type of narcoleptic does not fall asleep in the middle of a task (like driving a car), but rather feels tired much of the day. Do you chronically require more sleep than the average person? Are you chronically sluggish or tired despite 8 hours of sleep? If so, you may want to see a neurologist and have a sleep study performed where the physician can diagnose the issue.
