Hello, I had laparascopic hysterectomy done last Feb 2010. Six weeks into my recovery I develop a fistula to the bladder and therefore went for a second surgery to fix the hole in my bladder. Three weeks into my recovery w/ the second surgery, I woke up one day feeling lightheaded, nauseaous, blurred vision, heavy eyes, feeling weak like hypoglycemic and numb/tingling hands and feet. I also cannot eat a lot and felt like my acid reflux had gotten worst. I went to my GI doctor for repeat endoscopy and manometry and turned out to be normal. I already dropped 14 pounds and it feels like there's lump in my throat and food is sticking in my esophagus. However, after the endoscopy I started feeling better and able to eat more now than before. I saw an OBGYN and told me that all of the above symptoms are not related to forced menopause due to hysterectomy. My GP took a Vitamin D test and showed that I was deficient and put me on high dose to be taken once a week for 8 wks. She said that the numbness and feeling weak is due to lack of vitamin D. I hope she's right and these symptoms will go away after I finish the meds. As far as the constant lightheadedness, nausea, feeling pressure in head, heavy eyes and tinnitus she said that these symptoms could be migraine aura without headache and she put me to low dose (10 mg) of amitryptiline to prevent this migraine. I don't know if this is the right diagnosis but I will give it a try. She said the med will take effect after a couple of weeks. I really feel that all these symptoms are complications from my 2 consecutive surgeries. Does anyone have these kind of symptoms from laparoscopy type of surgery? If not from surgery but from other cause? Your input is greatly appreciated. I have these constant symptoms (24/7) for almost 2 months now and I'm still on medical leave because I cannot work feeling lightheaded with blurry vision and feeling weak. It's very hard. Just waking up one day with these symptoms change my whole life...This sight is very helpful. At least now I know that I'm not the only one and my doctor is wrong for saying that I just have anxiety problem. That's what they say if no treament works. shaka
My symptoms were so extreme at one point I thought i was having a heartattack, went to the hospital the doctor there said It was probably anxiety.....??? I highly doubt it.. My vision gets so bad I can't hardly see anything. It is like an attack, The only thing I have truly noticed is it does have something to do with what I am eating or drinking.. Any help would be greatly appreciated on this matter.
i had a laproscopic galbladder surgery if clips are left behind ive learned that if they rub internal organs or if theyre not atached properly the can cause internal infections get grown over by tissue ect. these are alot like the symptoms of that i could be wrong ive had problems since i had my surgery 8 years ago low blood pressure and seizures and symptoms like yours i have six clips in me and the surgeon treated me very bad when i found out he left clips in me and asked if they were causing the problems after being on antibiotics for three months i felt better for a while but the symptoms have slowly came back over the last year any forein object left in you after surgerycan cause the body imune system to atack it in my opinoin thus scar tissue, infection and mabe cancer over long time all surgeons will deny these clips cause problems but there are attournies that will take it on for free to force them to take them out or if you no longer trust the surgeon who didi the surgery make them pay another to do it at the 1st surgeons expence ive heard alot of bad things from almost every lyposcopic surgery person ive talked to and seen tons online its worth calling about i could be wrong but im getting mine taken out since two came loose and are floating around in me how can that not be bad? this is just my opinion on it
amazing all shearing
