you're better off starving yourself than overeating and im not joking. obesity is like the leading cause of death and the only bad thing about only eating 1000 - 1500 calories a day is that you get skinny. eat like next to nothing for 2 weeks your stomach will shrink then jsut eat low calories and you'll be fine. i've been doing it for years and im fit I run marathons.

quit being such a judgemental penis. weight problems stem from all kinds of sources, but trust me, your tax dollars aren't one of them. Have you ever had to get food stamps to get by? Plenty of people who work very damn hard and also pay taxes find themselves in temporary situations needing food stamps, and I can tell you from personal experience, even if you budget like a fiend, they don't cover the whole month's worth of groceries. maybe hop off your high horse and do a little research before you go around attacking people.

Wow your an as****e! No where in that post did he/she say they were eating McDonald's. I'm sure since you "work" for your food you know that crappy food like fries & potpies are cheap & really bad for you. You have no idea why this person is on fs so for you to day duct tape your mouth shut is just an ignorant comment to something you assume to know everything about. Wow! Well I suppose you have to get back to your perfect life with your perfect body & perfect children whom never eat anything bad or spend $ on something unnecessary. Sanctimonious ass!!

I bet you came from a middle class background and walked into a job after highschool.You have no clue what you're talking about when it comes to the plight of the lower class in America.You think people honestly CHOOSE to be on food stamps?You have no clue what their background is and yet you have no issue casting down judgement.$100 says you go to Church every Sunday. I suggest actually reading your bible. If you did, you'd know Jesus would probably smash your face in with a brick for this comment.

It sounds like genetics are playing a role. 116 is a healthy weight for your height. If you lose any weight it will most likely just be muscle and not fat.

Hey, I know what you're talking about.
I had some many problems losing fat. I was searching and looking for different low carb diets, how lose fat fast schemes and so on... Though, I did came across on article on a few weeks diet program. After using some tips from the program, I literally lost weight in 1-2 weeks time. If you are desperate enought, you just have to take action.

you want to lose weight fast. then eat high protein foods, fish, chicken, tofu, wholesome vegetables. you want to lose weight fast. cut out carbs eat high proteins with health fats -(olive oil, avocado, coconut oil, omega-3 fatty acids).
sugar is in everything you eat. stop eating the fast and easy food. eating healthy is not expensive, it may look like it costs more, but it lasts for a longer in duration, and makes you lose weight a feel good.
there is no way of losing 20pounds over night. (did you gain it in a day? NO, then you will have to wait and see the results as you did gaining it)
if you eat clean (cut out white breads, pasta, potatoes, fast foods) and eat only complex carbs (rye breads, fruits -(before 12) porridge, within 12 weeks you will have lost 12kgs, i wouldn't be surprised if you lost 4kgs within the first week.
now exercise is free there is nothing special, no special clothes are needed (you can be naked in your own home) go onto you-tube and look up the 30day shred, or a Hiit workout for beginners. training and strengthening your muscles will eat your calories while you sit down.

giving up sugar is like giving up cocaine (or so i have read) i can tell you that the first few weeks, were agonising, i kept wanting to reach for the sugar, the bread, the biscuit, iced coffee drinks) will power and motivation is all you need. take before photos and look at them every day. i did i hated and was ashamed at what i saw, and i changed, no excuses.

It's less shameful then your response and "helpful" advice. How about instead of jumping at someone you ask questions... is there a health reason behind it (thyroid for example), what holds you back from being more active and exercising?, do you need help learning how to properly prepare more healthy meals with portion control? Basically... what's the whole back story? I'm guessing you don't know?
Kind of like how I'm going to ask you a question... if this was a drug addiction they were trying to fight would you still be an arrogant and ignorant ass to them?
I hope to hell nothing ever happens to you and your family that may force you to use other people's tax dollars for a little while.


Then again...... maybe a humbling experience is just what you need
