So glad to read your story. It sounds like me. I am so glad that I looked up the neuroma from a hernia. I have had this before on the right side and it took 1 1/2 yrs and all the test you mentioned with no result showing on the test that there was a hernia. Finally after all the test I went back to the surgeon and told him nothing was found in all my test. He agreed that something was wrong that he would do exploratory surgery on the right side of my stomach. Well there were 4 hernias that never showed up on all the different test. After fixing them - pain free in my stomach. Now I have the problem on the left side. Surgeon said he does not want to do surgery on me until I try the pain clinic asking for a steroid injection if it doesn't work then come back and he will do the surgery, So here I go again.I will get one injection and if it does't do it then I will go back to the surgeon to fix the problem.I will not go through a year and a half agin, with all the pain meds. Let me know if you find a solutions. I go to the pain clinic tomorrow. Will let you know the results. CES 12/11/2016

Hello duke8374991, Your story and history is very similar to mine. I too have had multiple abdominal surgeries and all of the bladder and stomach issues you mentioned. Although I was thinking this may be scar tissue affecting a nerve, I think it could be something else due to the other issues with bladder etc. What is your status today? Any updates that can help others?

What is the ‘ Alcock canal ‘ - and where in the body ? Did you have to be opened up for the surgery or was it laparoscopic ? I was told an operation for a neuroma is like finding a needle in a haystack - and was told not to follow a surgical exploration route. But you sound as if this was not a problem - I would be pleased to get a similar result . Thanks for any more info ?

Wow, finally I’m reading things that describe my problem, been there, done everything, ct scan, colonoscopy, endoscopy, MRI, laparoscopy, you Name it, from Dr to Dr , country to country, now a dr told me it’s neuroma, he is planning to give an injection if I can pinpoint my pain, but my pain is like a long big roll, have had several surgeries,
So been with this pain on left lower side of abdomen for 7 to 9 years now,
Wondering if it will ever stop
I am 61
