I have recently found two lumps where my gum meets my cheek, one on lower left, and one on lower right. Lower left is a bit bigger (minute), and they are almost symetrical in location. I went to the dentist, and he felt them, and also took films on L lump. He states there is nothing there that indicates any abscess or jaw bone destruction (infiltration). I saw the films myself, and he was correct, there was nothing there. He stated they are likely plugged salivary glands, most likely by stones, and they will disolve on there own in 2-3 weeks. It's been about 3 weeks, and they have not gone away. They are not any bigger than they were either. I do chew tobacco, but the dentist also said he sees nothing to indicate a disease process anywhere in my mouth.
Now, I also recently have had other symptoms of possible systemic problem: Facial numbness that comes and goes on L side, tingling and weakness of both feet, legs, and my left arm/hand, pain behind Left eye, headache in left side of head. All recent blood work has been negative, including SjS, ANA, CBC, Lupus.
I'm getting very concerned. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have all of the exact same things you mentioned. I know this is an old post but am hoping to see what yours ended up to be. My dentist just told me to wait and see if it gets more inflamed then maybe he'll prescribe an antibiotic.
