Let me tell you my problem...
i seem to have this large, Lumpy baggage on my left testicle, in the place of my epididymis.
it's like a bag of veins, feels like worms almost, and is quite heavy. i think its sort of dark purple, but most of the time my scrotum blocks out any visible colour. i've had it for about 2 and a half years, im 14 now and first noticed it when i was 11 or 12. during this time, my upper left leg would ache, along with my testicles (both of them). this would happen at random times. Most of the time it is painless, although i do wear underpants as support otherwise it's uncomfortable and heavy. also note that it disappears slightly when i lie down. i havent gone to the doctor or told anyone so far, because i just have not been able to spit the words out at the right time. i suppose it's embarrassing and i should tell someone no matter what but it's hard, you know. i first found it when i noticed one night that one of my testes was hanging lower than the other. i think i may have got it from a bicycle accident ages ago, but im probably just looking for reasons. i have been looking on the internet and trying to give me a slight idea as to what would be the problem. so far i've discovered these two possible candidates: Varicocele? Maybe Hernia?
nothing else seems to fit my description even slightly.
Lately, it has been fine and painless and i almost forgot about it completely but just last tuesday my left testicle has become very sensitive, painful when touched or disturbed (either by my pants when i walk or if it touch it). to top it off, my upper left leg has started aching again!
attacks like these i've had before in the last 2 years and have been quite spaced out between each other. However this time has been a bit more irritating, and i cannot examine my left testicle much because it's really sensitive and my scrotum has become tough and hard (like when it's cold) alot more often. i thought it might be swollen, but i dont think so. I do not expect this annoying events to last much longer than a few days (they usually don't). but, if they do...i guess im going to have to tell my parents and go and see a doctor...but its just sooo HARD!!! im really not sure how to do it. and so, before i pluck up the courage and tell them (which i might fail to)
i have come to you guys and i ask for your help and advice? what do think of all this? i hope i haven't left it too long, but it's just so difficult to get the words out!

Hello, by the way i'm 14 years old too. We have a similar symptom. I think this symptom starts when i was at age of 11 or 12. At that time I ignored that symptom. Actually, this past days my lumpy veins makes me irritate. I also feel the pain in my upper left leg too like yours. But it is not that painful, i only feel irritate. I feel curious this day, so i research about this symptom. Then, finally i got the answer so thank you. But i'm so shy if this symptom is hernia because i don't like to go to doctors to check-up my nuts. This time i'm so scared about this symptom. Uhm'. if you already go to doctor to check-up yours. Can you tell some ideas about this lumpy veins?.
