I suffer from bad arthritis due to age, and several people have suggested that I try magnetostatic therapy. I am no expert on alternative medicine but am naturally sceptical towards anything that has not been proven scientifically. Are there any people who know more about this form of "treatment", and can you say whether or not magnetostatic therapy is a hoax?
This is an interesting topic. I have read some studies that looked at the effect of Magnet Therapy from a patient's point of view, and those that tried Magnet Therapy reported no positive changes in their symptoms. Magnet Therapy is supposed to work by increasing the blood flow in a person's body, and even iron levels, but claims that this is what it does have proven to be untrue.
