Geez Ok guys i know this is an old thread but I need to share my part of this story, comments and personal stories in similarity is WELCOME!

I began taking weed around 17 I started to have panic attacks shortly after along with huge migraines, Visited doctor went through a ton of tests and well there wasn't anything to be found. He came to a conclusion it was anxiety and prescribed some medications. Paxil at that time. I felt normal again, no more anxiety panic attacks etc. During this time I smoked pot probably twice a week. Going on, I turned 20. I got involved with ladies and going out partying. I started loving the alcohol. I'd drink and drink non stop until i was always practically falling all over or enough to know what i'm doing but just do some of the craziest stunts imaginable. So fast forward, 20-25 were 5 hard years of alcohol and weed usage. I'd smoke 3.5 g a day easily and was always ready to spark the next one. I also became fanatic of drinking followed by some marijuana because when id smoke marijuana alone Id be nervous and anxious. I wouldn't want to see anybody until my buzz was over. Fast forward,27 years presently, I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety along with psychosis(audial hallucinations). My last joint was of July 2010. My last night of heavy drinking was about the month of March 2010. So I been clean since though I have let go my job as I have also become totally social phobic, hear voices rambling(mostly religious stuff), and have lost my sense of motivation as well as emotions. Psychiatrist said though it COULD be the alcohol or marijuana use as it could take about a year to fully detox! If I'm still having symptoms of psychosis after a year, it is very possible it is my anxiety turned to severe due to passed experiences and perhaps traumas. I have had plenty of traumas in my life from my dad beating to a severely bruised kidney(internal bleeding) around 16 years of age to losing my mom watching everything go on with cancer, images there traumatized me to this day, no details for your own sakes. Getting knocked out waking up in hospital after a club being pissed drunk...guns were involved etc.....though they ran brain scans and they said i was perfectly fine. So it was just another scar to add to my collection. All in all though I do believe it was weed though that could of caused this add on of psychosis as i did usually always feel nervous and anxious though I loved the feeling of just being somewhere quiet and enjoying the buzz. Liked playing soccer or sports i general as it enhanced my performance similar to those that use cocaine in that cause. I have tried hash, enjoyed it more cause, I wouldn't feel the downer weed would cause afterwards. Hash was harder to come by though. Cocaine i only tried in "juicies" mixed with marijuana. That was very rare though I could count on my hands the amount of times i did that. at do you guys think? He said he needs more time to cancel the marijuana usage suspicion, as well as alcohol, to be able to label this as a severe anxiety case with symptoms of psychosis. Here I am today, jobless since summer(Peak when the voices came in) I thought everybodys' judging me and sometimes still do, would think they said things to me etc. I barely walk outside my front door cause I don't want to see anybody I feel like id make a fool of myself now. Anyhow, my question here is do you guys think it could still be the excessive marijuana usage still causing these psychosis symptoms? Though I do miss drinking alcohol as it felt like my ultimate relaxant, I have heavy doubt that it was a cause of a withdrawal symptom this long. Give me opinions and share some similar stories! I love to know more about these things while also crossing my fingers it isn't as bad and learn from disastrous and regretful mistakes, though I tell myself I don't regret it, I have to deal with it now.
Same guys here OP

Forgot to mention these drugs were obviously always mixed with my meds I was taking to stop my minor/mild anxiety symptoms. I forgot to make that clear!
