marijuana and stomach problems

I think the stomach issues are not related to using weed. That it is merely a coincidence. Maybe smoking weed causes us to be more aware of the problems we have. You think that with all the war of drugs there would be research behind the use of marijuana causing health issues. Yeah I could be wrong but I'm just saying a lot of things cause stomach upset. Stress, anxiety, food allergies, not drinking enough water, or even the kind of food consumed and the amount of food your body can digest. Our stomachs are very sensitive. Containing more neurons than our brains. We need to seek help about health concerns and strive to live a healthy life with healthier choices!

My son in law just got diagnosed by his doctor..stomach pains and vomiting, he said it was excessive pot smoking...I will post the name of diagnoses later!

You also need to consider the quality of weed you smoking... I have smoked spiked weed a lot. I have also smoked the best of hash (charas in india) still I get that bloating upper stomach.. currently m on a break for six months. Will resume smoking once I make my mind :)

Thanks, man. I've had undiagnosed stomach issues for years on end. Each time being hospitalized. Doctors could never find a reason for my extreme pain in my upper abdomen. Bad vomiting comes with it. Last year for the first time ever, an ER doctor said it was the weed. For some reason it registered, but I didn't quit. The pain always came like every four to six months for about a week, then stopped. And now, you wrote this in detail and it all describes me. Last few days I've been feeling like sh*t. It's coming back. Thanks, man. I guess I gotta actually quit this time.

I have been smoking heavily for the past 10 years (atleast one joint a day) and never had a stomach problem , just the occasional chilling that once in a while makes me run to bed (am also spending alot of time in cold and tired). Got here because a friend keeps getting to ER and after like 10 visits one doctor drug tested him without consent and decided it's because of the weed. Friend has been smoking for more than 15 years with more bad habbits that could count , doctor says it's stress+ weed ... i call BS ... how come you guys have so many frequent visits to emergency and doctor realises after 10 visits you are smoking pot and blames it on that. Has any of you guys got rid of the pain after quitting? or no one quit ? ;)

Carcinogenic smoke can cause ulcers. Mine didn't heal until after I quit the weed.

I have this same problem I get pain when I'm sober. I had a biopsy done and all is good just have Chronic GERD to where I throw up and I get dizzy but those might be silent migraines I'm not too sure. And my moms gallbladder doesn't work my dr said it might be working only half the time.

I have experience almost the same, but I didn't throw up the whole day though, but yes my stomach hurts and sometimes I do feel hungry but when I started to eat I feel stuffed, and my upper stomach is also painful.

I've had the same problem but I found out laced weed cuases stomach pain and aboming fluid is number one thing to be laced with weed and when smoking can inflammation of the liner of your stomach and intestines I've done millions of research also red that can cause ulcers I actually have stomach ulcers tho and ibs and it hurts like hell I toke a little at night and almost instantly my pain is gone it's not the weed

Yeah makes perfect sense the problem people have with their stomachs after smoking weed is for sure do to inhaling too much past lungs and into the stomach
