My 26 yr old son smoked weed and threw up repeatedly for 20 minutes afterwords. He took one bong hit and BAM, started sneezing and throwing up. Said he felt as if he were dying. His stomach hurt immediately after one hit, and his chest broke out in a rash.

i believe so just like you ......... ive been smoking for the past 20 years and man im suffering something that i do not know , and everytime i visit the doctor and sends me to do checkups but they all appear to be fine . im so messed up now and i honestly dont know if it is work stress or the smoking that causes my indigestion , putting in mind that i live in the most polluted place on earth EGYPT !!! but when i travel it seems that i dont have any symptoms at all, it only arises when i get back to work .... not to mention the reflux and chronic disc pain which leaves me confused , is it the smoking or is it the backpain or the digestive problems thats causing me to have severe pains in my abdomen

Fantastic. I have had problems for years now (close to 5.5 years) and am currently going to see a gastroenterologist.
What you just said is the most anyone has said that makes complete sense about why smoking marijuana might cause nausea . I get tired of the hypocritical "drugs are bad mm'kay, so just don't do em." I don't know what it was, but how you compared the resin to needing to be cleansed, like any smoking utensil that might collect that tar looking sticky content would need to be cleansed, to a body needing to basically do the same it really hit me.
I know I'm not a doctor, and I'm straight forward. I don't lie to my doctor or try to deceptively keep information. I genuinely want to know what's wrong with me I have no shame. I'm a 27 year old woman I struggle hard with anxiety and I've smoked weed for about 6 years. I wouldn't call myself a chronic or habitual smoker, though. I feel more in tune with my body when I smoke and enjoy being active when I'm high. I pay close attention to my body when I smoke, so I realize what you mean about breathing less or not through your diaphragm but through your stomach instead. It definitely is a hard habit to break but repetition is key, I still struggle with breathing in through my stomach.
With my nausea I don't consume any alcohol, I completely reject it from my body. I vomit within an hour of the consumption. No lemons, song acidic foods or drinks. I was smoking cigarettes, but those make me feel worse than anything, I'd rather smoke another j. I don't want to be ignorant, I want to fix the problem.
For five years now I've dealt with bloating, nausea, diarrhea, sulphuric gas, sulphuric vomiting, constipation, some episodes of fever when wretching or any paired symptom listed.
I've had tests done such as an endoscopy, two mri's, blood and stool samples. The works. I did start out much more sick at a point in the beginning of the 5 years that I could hardly eat because I threw everything up. It turned out to be h.pylori, I treated it twice and it's no longer part of my ocurring issue.
Hey, if I quit smoking do you think I could have a drink again? I was never a heavy drinker, but having a glass would be nice anif I did not have to worry about hurting myself

I recently had this type of situation by I was using a vape pen. Something has really upset my stomach for the last two days. On day two, I thought maybe it was my coffee as reading coffee can cause bloating as well. Later that night I vaped with my neighbor, everything seemed fine until later when I was getting ready for bed, the bubbling in me started. I'm on day three and still dealing with it. I'll try no coffee and drink peppermint tea and try not to vape a pray it passes. If the weed is causing this, that's really going be a downer.

Every one is biologically unique, it 100% does cause stomach problems for some people. Heard of a paradoxical reaction? The reason why some people get sedated by stimulants? Why some people get stimulation from benzos. I mean it’s a medical fact. It’s also a fact that any drug can have any random people effect on one individual. Don’t come saying cannabis doesn’t cause stomach problems. It does for the people here. Just cause it doesn’t for you doesn’t mean you can advise on everyone.

It’s been a year since I’ve been having horrible stomach cramps and bloatness. I didn’t stop smoking I kept going since I thought it wasn’t the marijuana causing the problem (smoking everyday for 4 years) all day the cramps and pain would be there non stop, also very hard to sleep. I tried Omeprazoles, did a endoscopy, and a colonoscopy with the results coming up healthy and no problems. I was very confused and I stopped smoking to atleast see what happens, after 2 weeks of no use I started to feel better and gained my appetite back. Since I thought I was okay I started smoking again, but then a couple of days later the whole pain started coming back. Then in that moment, I realized I had to stop smoking. Now it’s almost been 2 weeks and I’m starting to feel better again. Idk why this happens, but I feel like it’s important for others to read this.

Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome is recurrent nausea, vomiting, and cramping abdominal pain due to cannabis use. These symptoms may improve temporarily by taking a hot shower or bath. Complications may include kidney failure, electrolyte problems, and skin burns from hot water.
