I don't have a tennis ball handy to measure, but I'm guessing they are about 2.5 inches in diameter. I have been using dildo's for along time and I found that you must use a soft, flexible dildo and have been using an 8" dong all the way in after alot of practice. make sure you are cleaned out with an enema or any waste remaining in your bowel will compress and make it difficult to use the full length. i have a 6 inch silicone dildo. I use it for anal. It feels good. I just don't think it is wise to put something that is 10 to 22 inches in the ass because it could get stuck, and you might have to pay a visit to the hospital for removal. You should try to be safe when using a dildo for anal. It didn't hurt when I used the 6 inch.
