Taking iorn and folic acid pills will help. When I was pregnant I did not crave for mothballs because I was on those pills.
I'm still trying to find the discontinued ones. I really thought I was the only one with this issue till 3 years ago I started to Google it and I was so surprised that people really chew mothballs.

You and me both! To have a craving so strange is feeling because you're so ashamed of it. But I feel a little more normal after finding all of you here with the same struggle, and also finding people who have stopped...plus when they stopped making the old ones, I knew eventually I'd stop anyway. I hate the new ones, but at some point I'll probably run out. I just happened to find someone who had several boxes they had found somewhere and listed them on ebay.
I know what you mean. I have been chewing since I was 14. I'm now 35 and I just told my best friend and we been friend since I was 20. I want to stop so bad but its sooo hard. The struggle is real. I'm found a way to deal with the new ones. I crush up about 10 in a plastic bag, ball it up and tie it tight. After an hour its in a big ball form and I just chew it. It taste about the same. But I am going to search eBay for it
There's only one in there that I think are really the old fashioned ones, it's a 24oz. box and it's $19.19...I check the upc numbers and that's how you can tell. But I'd try that one, I'm pretty sure all the others are the kind in the packets.
We're the same age, and doing this for the same length of time. I've told people when I was in my teens, but it turned out bad each time. My girls threatened to tell the guy I liked, so I lied and told them I stopped...and I never told anyone again out of fear. My concern is mainly because my iron is so low, and I know that exposure to naphthalene causes anemia. I know I have to stop, but it's hard because I enjoy it at the same time!

I messaged too, and the seller didn't respond. I checked the upc code against the ones on my boxes, and I'm pretty sure those are the real deal. I've had too many experiences with getting the wrong kind, and it's a headache dealing with returns. Ask for mpn E20, the new version is mpn E58.12 (sad I know this) lol.

I hope so. Its crazy that I use to pay $3.00 in the store just for a box. Now I'm about to pay $10 and up for a box smh
