My daughter is 19 and for the past few months, every morning when she awakes, she has been having mucous in the back of her throat so badly that it makes her want to gag. She also said her mouth feels sticky. She has been dealing with bad breath for quite some time. We asked the dentist about the bad breath because she has wonderful oral habits, so we didn’t think that her teeth would be the cause. The dentist thought that maybe she could have dry mouth syndrome. She’s also having some anxiety since this is her first year away at college. She will be going to see her primary care doc when she finishes with school next month. Just wondering if anyone else has/had experienced these symptoms and if so, did any of you get a diagnosis?
