My 7 year old son started to get severe lower right side abdominal pain about 3 months ago. the first time he got it he vomited twice so i took him to a& e and they believed that it was constipation as his bloods and x-rays were clear, about 6 weeks ago the same happened the pains were so bad that they woke him from his sleep. i took him to a&e and they admitted him, after 2 days they decided constipation again. on monday after vomiting 4 times, the last of which was a greeny yellow i took him to a&e again but this time his bloods showed a slight increase in his white blood cells but after 3 days they discharged him again still not knowing what exactly is the problem. the appendix seemed to have a node visual on the very bottom of it which was noticed in an ultra sound but doctor said that can be normal. Please advice as it just seems to be getting worse with each episode?
has he been checked for a hernia?
