less than two days ago my byfriend and i was on the highway heading home and our 1 year and 4 month old child was in the car. we started aurging because i have a feeling he's cheating on me beacuse i had my child my body isn't the same again. i hit him first because this isn't the first time he hurt me verbally and he hit right across my chest it hurt so bad i fought back and wanted to hit me again. i am so confused what to do he might or do it again, and with our child around. i am so hurt so hurt..

You both have problems. You with trust and him with anger.
See a counselor - NOW. If he won't go that by itself is a reason to be suspicious of him.
For your children's sake, you both need to go.
If he hits you again, file a police report. For you and your children's sake.
