My five years old son has been diagnosed with asthma and I am scared of the life he will have to lead from now on. I will try to help him as much as I can but I am not sure that I can do anything more than give him medications. A friend of mine suggested some herbal product, Saltpipe. Can he use that?
Well, considering the fact that it is a completely natural product with no chemical substances, I assume that it can be used by children. It contains nothing but mineral salts (thus the name) but since we are talking about the 5 year old kid, I recommend you to ask a doctor about this thing. Perhaps it will not combine that well with the meds he is already taking. And it is called a pipe…

My daughter has been successfully using the all natural mineral salt pipe for seven months now and she is seven years old. As long as your child can breath it in through the mouth and out through the nose, they should be okay. The best site I've found for accurate information and thorough education on the subject can be found at

saltrocks.org

It covers everything about the salt pipe and more esp. regarding halotherapy and speleotherapy - the origins of this device as well as features a child who has been using it advantageously. Also talks about how it compliments medicine and can be used in conjunction with any meds safely. In fact, when my daughter does need albuterol from time to time, it really has helped the medicine itself to last longer and she heals much faster than without the aid of her salt pipe.

Best Wishes!
