My hair has been falling out very easily. It always clogs the drains and when I run my fingers through it at least 5 strands come out extremely easily. Sometimes my hair will seem slightly thicker, but sometimes, like now, my hair is extremely thin and you can see a gap when my hair is parted, showing the skin.
In addition, I have begun to notice that there are times where, near the front of my hairline, you can see the skin of the skull in what can be seen as a small circle about .5 inch in diameter because there is little hair there. I try to cover it up by parting my hair to the side, but now I'm worried because the gap for my part feels to be widening, showing the skin of my head.
Does anyone have any ideas of anyything I can do to fix this. I have never dyed my hair, I never blowdry (only airdry it), I only comb my hair with a wide-toothed comb (and even then 4 or so strands get pulled out), I've had an iron test and the levels are normal and I don't have an overactive or underactive thyroid. Any advice would be great or any possible products (like shampoo, hair products, pills, etc.) that has helped anybody in the past.
Thank you all in advance

Hello,
You want to stay away from harsh shampoos and conditioners. I mean that's a given. But it sounds like you may have a vitamin deficiency. Go to the pharmacy and get a good multivitamin and their are supplements that you can take specifically for hair growh. Many of these are natural and contain the element silicon. Some supplements contain horsetail which is high in silcon content. This is good for hair, nails and skin and a good supplement to take throughout. Try doing a search on the computer for supplements that enhance hair growth but don't forget you need the B viamins and vitamins in general for complete success.
