When I am overly nervous/angry/excited/exhausted, my head starts to throb and feels like it's going along with heartbeat. No pain, but I hear some gushing/rushing. It scares me. Know what it could be?

I'm 14 and got a concussion from a hit during a hockey game. I went to the doctor later after I had recovered complaining about my dizziness and head throbbing, he told me I had vertigo, which I caused by an ear issue, he then told me that the calcium in my ears were "off balance" and needed to be reset like a computer. Maybe this is what you've got....good luck.
Is there anything I can do to stop the throbbing, pulsating, heartbeat sound in my head. It is not causing pain. However, I do have headaches, sinus and migraine occasionaly.
