Hi, I am a 36 year old female that is WAY overweight.

I just made a trip to the doctors for blood work and it all came back saying basically I am healthy but overweight. Cholesterol was fine, WBC was fine, liver enzimes were great, but I have very bad swelling in my calves and feet. If I walk, if I sit, if I lay... None of it seems to help make the swelling or feeling of tightness go down. Any suggestions?? Ice, asprin, ect?? Thank you.
I don't know if the swellings are consequence of your overweight but it looks like that could be the reason.

Since you were consulting with your doctor why haven't you asked him about the best solution to this problem?

I think it would be best to go back to your doctor and ask him about the swellings and what is causing them and what you can do to change this. And because I am fitness trainer I can tell you that you can fight against overweight and that the only thing you need is strong will. When you decide to start working on your body everything else comes easy. Now you are healthy but overweight can cause various problems. So it would be wise to prevent all serious conditions caused by overweight. And you will feel much better in general. Maybe this sounds like empty talk but deep down inside you know I have right. Hopefully your problem is resolved by now.
