My Nipples Hurt When I Press Them.... WHY??

i am sooo much younger than you [no offense] and have the same problem. my sister brushed up against them and it hurt likes something just stabbed me in the nipple. they are also scaly. i do have that hole thing, too. I want to be sure it is something before i inform somebody off the internet. they have gotten redder also i think i might have benign. You should check it out.

I am experiencing pain in my bilateral nipples. I noticed it today when my backpack strap ran across them which sent pain through that area. I've recently gained a large amount of weight and have been under extreme stress at work. This is the 1st time I've ever felt this. I'm 32 and I'm pretty sure it's not puberty and I haven't had any injuries to that area. HELP!!!

Yeah am only 17... but now I have a hard thing on my right nipple but the left is normal and If its pressed it's really hurts a lot ...and feels like hell ... can any1 tell me whats that...???

I have been having the same problem for a couple years. I'm 57 and in pretty good shape. I've seen my GP about it when it first happened and he just said it happens and don't worry about it. It does go and come back and it feels like each time it comes back it's worse. The lump that feels like a cyst is larger and the pain is sharper. I can't even lean a guitar against me because of the pain. Or when I give someone a hug it feels like a painful, kind of sharp poke directly on my nipple.

I don't mind the "don't worry about it" thing, but the pain is lame.

Why do so many of us have this and yet Dr.s don't know much if anything???

I'm 13 it was before only the left nipple but now it's both I just hope it's not serious and I'll be fine

what exactly was the diagnosis on this though????? I have all of these same symptoms and went to my doctor and he just said he didn't see anything wrong and sent me home after blood test and xray of chest. Im telling you my nipples are stretched out side ways and painful and have the hole. Im in good shape I don't understand.I don't have the pain while urinating though.

I have the same problem as many have stated. I believe that from what I am hearing, it has to do with trauma to the nipples. Such as slight weight gain or muscle gain or puberty (growth) that would stretch that area. My personal experience is I'm going through puberty and haven't worked out since football season and mine started when my friend nipple twisted me.

I'm 37 I'm overweight and for few months my nipples hurt real bad when I press in on them very painful. I thought was only me till I read this crazy if anybody fiquares out let me know thanks.

I have the same issue. My problem is a side effect from one of me medications. I had started using magnesium oxide.

Hi I am a 53 year old male and I too have weight gain and pain which started first with the left nipple with the feeling of a thumb size hole underneath. Now I also feel the pain and hole in the right nipple. Just last night my chihuahua stepped directly on right nipple my reflex was automatic and had no control over my reflex to remove dog, then I felt the pain . I will be checking with my doctor soon hopefully will have answers for myself and ALL interested with same problems.
