Its been 10 months as of May 10, 2006 and I still am without pain and stiffness from RA. Last July I took a six week protocol in Monterrey, Mexico that gave me a flu-like reaction just like the Dr. said would happen. For 3 days in the first week I just stayed in bed. After that I functioned the same as when I have a cold. After six weeks my arthritis pain was gone just like the Dr. said it would. I was really relieved to see the strength coming back into my hands again as the six weeks wound down. The flare-up was the worst one I had so I was ready then to try anything to get rid of it once and for all, if I could. Now I don't know if I am cured or just in remission, but it is so nice to be pain free for 10 months. I also got some of my flexibility back. I have to take a booster every 6 months which may tell me if I still have it or not because if I do they say there will be another reaction. My first booster came off without a hitch, no reaction, nothing. This made me really happy. They say it can come back so I am watching my diet and am careful of the water I drink. The clinic has a website aptly called arthritiscured.com. I understand that there is a cure rate of 80% for the protocol like the one I took. Sure glad I was in the 80% group. I was in Mexico on business for the time during and beyond the six weeks of the protocol so for me being in Mexico was not an issue. They say they really would like a person be at the clinic at least the first week. If people have to get back to work they will follow-up by phone after the first week and send them home with enough medicine to complete the protocol and the booster.
