hello!!!yes he is the father and he is dark skin, more than me and his hair is black, i am not that light myself and my son is 2yrs old and his hair is very red and he is lighter than me and alot lighter than his father...when he was born alot of people said his hair will start getting darker that he was just born like that but now that he is 2yrs older they r saying that it doesnt look like its gonna change!!!!not that i want it to i like him just the way he is he looks so cute with it and i think he is sooo unique....lol...but i was just wondering where could he have gotten his red hair from because i cant think of any1 in my family that has red hair his father said that his sister was born with red hair but her hair is very black now and i dont think he got the red hair from his fathers sister...what do u think???and what r the odds of two black people(dark skinned) with black hair having a light skinned red headed baby!!!!every1 keeps asking where he get his red hair from everywhere we go and i dont know what to tell them!!o and i also have a 1yrs old daughter and she does not have red hair so that makes people question it more! thank u for ur time

both my parents have black hair and black skin and i have red , wavy hair and light skin and freckles. red hair and freckles are recessive, so someone on both of your son's sides had red hair and freckles. my grandmother has red hair, but her parents have black hair.
none of my brotehrs and sisters have red hair or freckles. you are going to get aloyt of people saying you cheated on your husband, milk man's baby ect.. ignore it all. this exists more than people know. my family is from nova scotia, there are loads of red heads and freckles there. also in barbabdoes, christ church area, and in jamaica, parish church area.
