I have a 8 month old, and have been having these same feelings for the past 2 months. I have not been sexually active since my pregnancy so I can't be pregnant. It's worrying me about this fluttering ball feeling thing in my tummy. Has anyone found out what it is?

i had the iud for acouple years n recently had it sergically removed due to the fact it grew to my uterus.but i have had this feeling for quite some time as well..I just said something to my biological mother tonite n she said she had the same feelings before she had surgery.Which she had cervical n stomach cancer. This is no proof of what it is, but i know it freaks me out cuz i couldnt handle another child or handle knowing i have to lose a child cuz its not growing in the rite spot of my body. When on the iud i was told about tubal pregnacies, therefore that stays in the back of my head n really freaks me out..I just wanna say good luck n hopefully we can all get an answer for this feeling. Mine is only on the lower rite side of my stomach, which i can feel also if i put a hand on outter stomach."just like a pregnacy" id get it checked but i cant afford to go, not that i can afford to wait n it possibly get worse depending on what it is..

The crazy thing I think all the women in this forum should realize, is that men have been having these same feelings in their stomachs as well.  I had this feeling for the first time today, and I immediately looked online to see what it may be.  We all know it is not gas (we've had that before and it doesn't feel like that).  I can tell you now it is not to do with pregnancy or female parts.  Think along the lines of something that would affect males and females.  I have read that other men online have experienced this same bubbling/moving/heartbeaty/pokey/non-painful/bloaty/bulgy type action to the side of our navel area.  I can definitely relate to the thoughts that immediately go through your head when feeling this.  I thought maybe something was living in there (probably not), or gas (nope - you know you have passed gas and took a #2 without irregularity).  After reading around on different sites, my best "gut feeling" (sorry I couldn't help it) is that it would be the POOR EATING, LACK OF EXERCISE, and STRESS that would cause such an internal spasm.  My guess is that almost all of us are a bit overweight.  I am maybe 20-30lbs over the weight I should be at.  I am a 34 year old Male, and I know that this is the longest I have went in my life without some regular exercise.  Last year I played basketball weekly, and some other sports.  This year I have not, and we all know when we are getting to that point where our body care has officially been neglected.  I can also see how some stressful things have been sitting in the back of my mind as well, and my eating hasn't been very healthy.  If I can easily say that I am guilty of all three of these potential causes, I'm guessing you might be too.

Bad food would equal not-so-healthy intestines, etc.  No exercise could lead to poor blood flow, clots, etc.  Stress can cause body parts to be tense or spasm.  Wouldn't you think all three of these could make this type of movement or feeling inside you???

I am going to try and listen to my body and change my eating and exercise.  I know I am on day one, but if I make changes and it still persists, then I'll plead my case to the doc.

Our bodies tell us things and give us very distinct feelings to show us that we should be taking our health care seriously.

I don't want anyone to cancel any doctors appointments, because I am not a doctor... but think about it.

I am surprised to see all the same basic feelings going on.  I am a 61 year old woman that had a hysterectomy at 19 and lately I have had these fluttery feelings as well in my lower right side.  I know what it feels like to have a baby in there but that is what it feels like.  Inside and outside.  I have asked my doctor about it and she did a ultra sound and found i have fatty liver disease but it isn't where my liver is.  its down almost to my waist.  Sometimes it is really a pain too and comes in waves almost like quick labor pains.  Weird.   I don't know how to find out what it is.  I read all your comments and I know you all are wondering as well.  But how do we find out?    Well If someone finds out please let us know.

I have had this feeling for about 2 weeks now and I have only had my iud for a little over a month. I have my checkup tomorrow for the iud so I am very anxious to hear what my doctor has to say. I am just now wondering of I could have already been pregnant when the iud was placed because no pregnancy test was done because I was on my cycle when iud was placed... Wish me luck:)

Wow!!!!!  I just told my bf about the fluttering I am feeling in my lower stomach.  At first I thought it was gas...it happened 4 days ago for the 1st time and now I feel the fluttering every night since then.  I also have a Mirena IUD but I got mine in Sept of 2011....Is it possible my bf could have somehow moved my IUD and I am pregnant?!?!?!?

I have been trying to get pregnant for a while and there are weird things going on with my stomach and i have cramps but i haven't had my period at all this month. I really hope i am. But i really don't know how to tell my mom, thats my biggest fear cause she is the kind of person who freaks out about EVERYTHING.

I've been having the same symtons, I have moving sensations that goes thru out my body.  I contacted the doctors, they think its my imagination.  I hardly eat now because its has gotten worse, it keeps me up at night.  I continue to pray and plead the blood of Jesus over my life.  I was on my computer, I noticed the heat aggervates it, so I began to apply heat all over my body, I notice it has has relieved my symtons a little, still feel something but it has been sort of a relief.
