Over the past three days, my throat has becoming "itchy" and "small". It starts to feel like it is closing or something is stuck. When I cough to try to get "whatever is in there out", I end up throwing up what I ate within the last two hours. Please help, my throat is hurting and it still feels like I have something in my throught.
he will be eating, and all of a sudden, he starts to hiccup, and his throat won't let him eat anymore. Sometimes he can wait it out, sometimes coughing up his food is the only thing that helps. What can this be?
Hi. I have this same problem (including the hiccups). This has to be a food allergy because it happens so quickly and can last for hours (up to 4 hours for me). I haven't worked out the trigger yet.
Further to the post from 8/24/09: After an operation to remove food stuck in my throat that wasn't able to dislodge after 8 hours, I got access to further followup and tests that found it to be osophegal osophegitis.
