i feel horrible asking this sort of thing but me and my boyfriend [of two years now] are sexually active together.
neither of us have any sexual diseases, etc. and we use protection...
but this past sunday [today is wednsday] we had sex and when i got home that night i was finew, but the next morning i realized my vaginal area was itchy, a little enflamed, slightly red and sore. when i walk it feels like my underwear is slicing into my vaginal area!!
this isn't exactly a normal thing for me, and i'm not sure if it's a yeast infection because i don't have over active discharge, and no white flakes, etc.
i only use dove soap that's non sented, i keep very clean and extra clean in this region of my body...
i know i wrote probably some useless information but i just want to say all the details running through my head because i want the best answer possible!

SOunds like yeast infection to me....yeast doesn't have to cause the discharge although it is one of the symptoms.

I Shaved My Vagina About A Month Ago And It Didnt Start Getting Sore And Itchy Until The Next Morning. I Brought Some Creams And Also Brought Some Witch Hazel That I Heard Would Help. I Put It On Everytime My Vagina Got Itchy Or Felt Really Sore And It Seemed To Have Cleared It Up Quite Abit. The Redness Had Gone Down Alot But I Still Had Little Bumps o.O . As It Was Getting Better I Decided To Shave It Again And Take More Time But Like Last Time The Same Thing Happend. I Am Putting Cream On But Nothing Seems To Be Working. I Have Had A Look And I Have A Little Cut At The Bottom Of My Vagina Thats Really Painfull :-( . My Knickers Also Feel Like They Are Slicing Into The Area That Is Itchy And Sore! I Dont Have Any Smelly Discharge At All I Only Have The Small Amount Around My Cliterous. It Does Not Hurt When I Pee But Sometimes Wakes Me Up In The Night Because It's So Itchy. I Have No Idea What This Could Be Can Anybody Help :$ ?

i have a similar sort of problem.. the area is really really really itchy and when iv checked iv noticed how inflamed and swollen it is! i am sexually active with my boyfriend but never had sex, could this be a cause? i noticed how itchy and sore i was a couple of weeks ago right after i had a 'night in' with my boyfriend. Im now on my period and the problem is just getting worse:-) i am scared to go see a doctor and im really scared to tell my mum about it, im in real distress as to what i should do!!!

ok first calm down, stress leads to more itchyness. i have the same problem but mines isnt as bad. apparantly yoghurt is supposed to help. you dip the condom into yoghurt and insert the condom. ive never used a condom before cause i am to scared. or put yoghurt mixed with a little water into a ice pack and the next morning insert it just like a condom. and sleeping with your pants and trousers off also works. i have been fingering myself with the outside off a marker. i think thats the cause off mine or dryness.
Talk to your mom, she will alway have the best answer. I rather be embarrassed talking to her than finding out its something serious. And for the love of God do not use yogurt, that's just asking for more troubles. If you embarrassed to talk to your mom go to the health unit they will help you out
