Negative blood test, but pregnancy signs?!!

Hi could you please update she you get your ultrasound results? This sight is great but frustrating that rarely does anyone come back with an update.

I'm in a similar position but have had 4 faint positive hpt (from 3 different brands) but a negative blood test. I have to go back to the doctors Wednesday but am thinking all my symptoms may he caused by a cyst. I'll update when find something out oh and I'm 3 weeks late today

i havent had my period in 6 months and i my stomach has gotten really hard and im already over weight but my stomach hardend up and i could swear that i keep feeling something move inside me but i took like 4 home pregnancy test and a blood test from the doctor and all of them keep comeing back negative..what should i do?

You should see ure dr and request a ultra sound if you stress it is causing discomfort and even suggest you have had a faint positive they are likey to take you a little more serious.
Follow your instinct sweetie. I have my ultrasound tomorrow I can't wait to get a answer to what is causing me think I'm pg.

Definitely get an ultrasound done. The doctor should one based on the fact you havnt had your period in so long. I doctor should be able to feel your uterus if you are pregnant by now as it would be above your belly button. I'm not going to go to the doctors today now I'm just going to wait until next week and see if I get my period then if not then that would be 2 missed. Good luck ladies

maybe wait a while longer before taking any medication including birth control pills - I'd ask for an ultrasound

My ultra sound didnt show up a baby, doctor looked more surprised than me!x

Hello. I really need advice as well, I had a miscarriage last year on may 31,2012 and haven't been able to get pregnant since, but  last month in January 2013 I had 2 periods in the same month and then my next period was late. Now I'm just waiting for my next period to start, but I feel like I have something in my tummy, I have lately been getting light headed, feel like I'm about to faint, My stomach is always growling, I once in a while get itchy and sensitive boob feeling and have taken several pregnacy text at both home and at hospitals, but they keep coming out negative. When I was pregnant last year in 2012 I loosing weight, only had some morning sickness, my periods 2 times in a month, and also negative test until I was 4 months 3 weeks. It finally came out positive and then 2 days later had my miscarriage. It was too late when I finally got positive results and fear it might happen again. What should I DO??

 

i to been having pregnancy symtoms my period came on and went back off the same day and i done took

several pregnancy test and blood test and they still came back negative any advice

 

Hi the best advice I can give is if the blood test says no and your atleast 2 weeks late take it as pretty much a given. I missed 2 periods, had a negative blood test but 7 positive hpt plus 4 weeks of nausea and vomiting but eventually got my period (wasn't a miscarriage) it can be so confusing and tormenting but just wait a week or so longer and if still no period test again

HELLO WELL IM IN THE SAME BOAT I HAD A TUBAL REVERSAL ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I HAVE LOST HOPE BEEN TRYING FOR A LONG TIME SO FEBRUARY I GOT  MY PERIOD ON THE 24 ONLY LASTED 3 DAYS WHEN IT ACTUALLY LAST UP TO 5 DAYS AND HEAVY TWO WEEKS LATER I GO TO THE RESTROOM AS I WIPE MYSLELF I SEE A PINK DISCHARGE  I WAS SURPRISED THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME SO I THOUGHT MAYBE I WAS GONNA GET MY PERIOD AGAIN DIDNT THINK NOTHING OF IT I DIDNT GET MY PERIOD FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH WE ARE NOW ON APRIL 15 AND STILL NOTHING I HAVE DONE ABOUT 6 PREGNANCY TESTS AND TWO BLOOD TESTS AND ALL NEGATIVE MY BREASTS ARE FULLER AND I HAVE BEEN HAVING SOME CRAMPING BUT NO PERIOD I FEEL LIKE IM GOING CRAZY DOCTOR KEEPS TELLING ME IM NOT PREGNANT NEXT WEEK I HAVE TO GO FOR AN ULTRASOUND WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS

 

I have been having the same issue. I have officially missed my 2nd period. I have all the classic pregnancy symptoms including fatigue, dizzy, spurts of nausea, and more. I have a daughter and have also had a miscarriage last year so I am not new to the whole being pregnant thing. I know the signs and I know my body. Last week I went to the Dr. after 4 negative home pregnancy tests. She did a blood test which came back negative as well. I now think I must be completely nuts, but my gut instinct when she suggested meds to make me start my period was "no thanks". She doesn't want to do an ultrasound because in her words "we'll just chalk it up to something weird going on since the tests are negative". It makes me feel a little better to read about others having this problem as well. I have read numerous posts that people did not find out until months into their pregnancy that they were in fact pregnant. I really need to know what my next steps should be since both of my pregnancies were pretty high risk and I don't want something to happen to this one if I really am pregnant like I feel I am.

Any advise????

I am 43 years old and have been trying for a baby since i was 27, unfortunately with no luck.

I am now 46 days late but have had two negative home results, I have mutible Fybroids though.

I do not know if I may be pregnant or if it is the fybroids that are making me late. I am too scared to go to the doctor though!!

Any advise would be well received.

Hi ladies sorry to butt in but im just wondering if anyone could answer this as yous have experience with tubal reversal . I had my reversal on 24th sept my first period come on 24 oct which is about normal as my period was just finishing when my reversal was done anyway it lasted 7 days with normal moodswing and tingly breast for about 5 days before now this is the strange thing yesterday one of my breasts started to feel quite sore then today both going crazy not the normal tingling I would get before my period so im confused is it a possible pregnancy or do your hormones go crazy like that after the reversal but before the reversal my periods were coming normal any help much appreciated cheers

I am three months late. After about a month and a half late, I took several hpt and had a blood test. All were negative. Now at three months late, I took 3 hpt tests and all are positive. So, yes, I think you can have a negative blood test and still be pregnant.
