Recently had oral thrush in the back of my throat, finished my medicine a little less than a month ago for it. I have asthma, been having problems with it more lately because of cats and weather changes.
Red blotches are growing in size and number by the day on the top of my tongue, looking as if the taste buds were burnt off in spots. There are red bumps all over the back of my tongue. None of it hurts at all...
I do eat a lot of spicy foods but even when I eat them it doesn't hurt my tongue so much... I am sexually active, though the last "at risk" partner I was with was almost 6 months ago... not taking any medications but Albuterol for the asthma... I don't smoke, only drink a couple of drinks maybe once every couple of weeks... still don't have the best diet or exercise agenda...
I've heard HIV, I've heard simple geographic tongue, and perhaps just the thrush came back... but I'm really scared now from hearing all of this, and it will be hard for me to afford a doctor... is there something I missed while researching? Please help.
