would neuorpathy of the legs  make this  worse?  my left hand middle  finger  turns blue and the veins  pop out on it.  as a drummer its  not good to lose feeling in the fingers.  no  previous injury,,no arthrirtis.

Hello,

if you're already suffering from neuropathy with it's symptoms mainly manifesting on legs, it could be possible that symptoms you're experiencing now are caused by damage to your peripheral nerves.

However, from your description, the symptoms you are experiencing on your left arm sound more like they were caused by blood supply being limited to your middle finger. That can happen if you have Raynaud's syndrome. It's usual main symptom is sudden stopping of blood supply to your fingers or toes, which causes them to turn blue.

Wish you all the best,

Nicole
