Our experience is so similar .... I had a reduction 14 months ago. Nipples are sore to touch, even sorer if squeezed gently, that brings out a very sexy scream in the middle of intimacy, what a turn on!!!! I am so upset, I feel like I ruined our amazing sex life. Is there NOTHING out there that can awaken the nerves in the damaged nipple???? Some kind of laser therapy , UV therapy... Something of that nature?? What a disappointing outcome to something so looked forward too. ;(

I had breast aug 5 mths ago 500cc in left and 550 in left . This was my second surgery My first being 24 years ago an ultrasound and mammogram showed Ruptures to both.. I had no choice but to do it all again 1st procedure was the sdaping of my chest cavity to remove the silicone Then the augmentation after that . I was lucky they picked the ruptures through the scans after my aug had to have drains on each side for 10 Days.My Surgeon told me afterwards I needed that op God only knows what could have happened.. I was blessed to have a fantastic surgeon and the outcome was just what I wanted and more!! It's still early days everything's going well just your usual little niggles with nerves And so on and heavy feeling but that's the normal process.. My reccomendation to any woman who has had inplamts for over 15 iyears go get a mammogram because I had no signs anything was wrong And come As A shock .. This was my experience and woul not wish it to happen to women if it can be prevented ...

I had 310cc over muscle. I am 6 month post op and my nipple sensation has returned more than it was but most of the time it's an uncomfortable sensation, underneath my nipples the area of my boobs are numbing, like when I brush past the skin it's the same kind of feeling when you're wearing a padded bra, u can feel it but not a lot! It is slowly getting better , BA is not something that resolves the flat chested problem without a few setbacks in my experience, there is numbness, the actual shape of the breast change over the following months. I have gained quite bad red stretch marks in my cleavage area around my nipple which are slowly fading but still upsetting. Any issues that aren't causing you pain or warning signs of needing a doctor I would say leave it a year before you give up hope, my boobs have changed loads in the past few months. I had my incision in the crease. everybody is different too!

For me it didn't. I had my surgery 11 months ago and I still have 0% feeling. Mainly around my nipple. I can feel around the very edge of my boobs but that's it.

Hi, Are your breasts still numb, or did you regain some sensation, do your nipple/areola's still get erect when its cold or they are touched? I'm 6 weeks post op with loss of sensation in half my areola, it doesn't respond to cold like the other but I can get it erect by touch, Ifeel your pain, I really hope it returns to normal.

I passed the same situation and it's totally frustrating, my sexual life turned disappointed after that. Two years ago, when I was 19, I did the breast augmentation. The result got terrible. After one year I did it again with a good surgeon. The result got beautiful but I'vent felt mi nipple yet. All my breast is completely numb. So I started to search and I've read about a termino lateral microsurgery. Have you ever heard about it? I'd do everything to get my sensitivity back and improve my sexual life.

I had double prophylactic mastectomy in 2011...nerves DO in fact regenerate, but extremely slowly...the healthier your overall lifestyle, the greater success your nerve growth will be. I have regained SOME sensations. I had radical mx on both sides, chest expanders placed, and silicone implants w/ nipple reconstruction...that's a lot. My regimen includes clean eating, active lifestyle + vigorous exercise at least twice/week, including weight training, and I use essential oils daily. There are actually essential oils that can assist in nerve growth.

You do get used to the change in sensation in your breasts...my nipples do not 'work', but I have a lot more feeling than I did after all the procedures.

Healthy regards,

Amanda

Get your nipples pierced. That will definitely bring back the sensation in your nipples!

I had my breast implants done about 8 months ago .. no complications everything went as planned , went for my 6 week checkup and I told them at the time no feeling in my breasts have improved they feel numb as if someone could punch them I wouldn't feel it .. Unfortunately this is still the case , I wish I never got them done and I wish I went to the doctors sooner and maybe got something done about it as they say it was a complication with nerve damage even tho I only got 1 cup bigger than I previously was .

I had mine done in the crease and I still can't feel my right breast or nipple after 5 years! It's quite depressing and I only had 220 under the muscle it wasn't worth it not only that the right implant moves towards my armpit :(

Me too :( I'm probably more insecure now than I was before I had the procedure! 5 years of a dead right nipple and it's now bigger than my left one and doesn't get erect.

After 5 years I still feel nothing in my right nipple to read that this is a rare thing breaks my heart, I used to be so sensitive on my nipples (in a good way) and now that's been ruined, I onlly had small 220 put in just so I had something rather than flat chested. I had my op when I was very young so I was nieve and didn't do much research on the surgeon I just went to the first one I was recommended to! Is there anything that can bring back sensation I would do anything!

It’s usual when we experience any numbness or pain after the post breast augmentation surgery. I too had my breast augmentation surgery from Ontario based Cosmetic Breast Surgeon - Dr. Marcus Niessen. At the very beginning, I experienced numbness and mild pain which was recovered in no time. If you are having the numbness and pain for more than a month then i would recommend you to consult the surgeon at your earliest. I hope you get well soon.

I disagree.... I had mine done twice and my sensitivity came back just fine!!!!!! Actually they feel amazing. Maybe your Dr was not the best.
