Can you tell me something more about Parkinson's disease? My grandfather has it for almost two months now but all he complains about does not look that tragic. Occasional muscle stiffness that causes pain is his trouble now and I wonder if it will get any worse or not? Do you have any idea?
Actually, I do. My father has been fighting this illness for almost ten years before he died. He was old when the diagnose was made, already 73 years of age. So, I guess we were lucky that he lived for those 10 years more. As far as I remember, doctors said that Parkinson's disease is not a fatal one, even though the estimated life span is somewhat shorter then in healthy people. I do hope your grandfather will live as long as my father did. As for symptoms, unfortunately, they do tend to get worse.
