Could be swollen adenoids due to allergies.
I have had jaw pain, swollen lymph nodes, neck and body pains for 4 and 1/2 weeks. After 2 weeks I got what I thought was the flu. Now my nodes are about 2 inches on left ear and half that size on the other side. Teeth, lefdt jaw, other ear and body aches. I am on antibiotic but not feeling to much better. Don't touch it. I have blood work tomorrow in the am. Hope it is only a virus but I have become concerned. My Dr. will take care of me and I will let you know. Hold strong everyone because we are strong. Listen to your doctor but mostly to your gut. Work together and get in and ask for what ever tests you think you need. We are important and we work hard.Let me know how you are.
You need a new place to live. Any Chance of that?
If that's the case, the pain or a minor infection caused by your molar(s) erupting could have made your lymph nodes swell.
A recent illness could cause swelling like that (a cold or a sore throat).
If it continues being an issue, have an adult take you to a doctor and get her/his opinion.
He said his tests came back clear. The best thing you can do is have yourself checked and stop reading online for your symptoms (like im doing now). I keep touching my lymph node like 6 times aday. sometimes it goes up, sometimes it goes down, sometimes the swelling disappears. i have to stop touching it. Since I had a strong flu in December, i also had a lymph node enlarged behind the ear. I keep touching them everyday coz im an id**t, a hypochondriac id**t like some of you here. Take up sports and do yoga, distract yourself with positivity. we attract what we keep thinking of. Eat healthy too. My hypochondriac self convinced herself that she has HIV three months ago, and went and did a test that came back negative. OF course it will be negative since ive been married for 4 years and did three tests for work during . My husband and I are inseparable, so we would know if any one of us cheated. its the stupid internet, it makes you believe things.
Sometimes I think it's always been swollen, but just recently started getting a lot of health anxiety due to my grandma passing and issues with other people.
If it's not down in another week or two, I'm going to make another appointment.
Bottom line is there are many things that could cause a swollen lymph node, but we all jump to cancer because we're hypochondriacs, or cyberchondriacs. I see it's controlling all of our lives.
