You know what?! I have been experiencing that for 4 months already and I am really suffering the similar thing but my problem is how can we get rid of this? right?! .. this has been a risk for me because I am an athlete and its really hard for me to breathe in air .. my teacher told me that might be its just an allergy or maybe because of your linens for it is very dusty or something.
.. I hope there would be a DOctor that could advice us so that somehow we can even relax or totally get lost in our situation..
I experience this also. Do not eat after a certain time. Do not eat ice cream. Try using a cough drop because it does help a lot. I will experience this occassionaly and might go weeks or even a month without a problem. I think it has a lot to do with the time that you eat and what.
something. I would like to know the number of people in the world who are experiencing similar symptoms. I have had mine off and on since 1992.
my mother keeps being sick after very meal and at night
This totally sounds like reflux.
seems like you got chronic postnasal drip and chronic sinusitis; you may have sinus infection which does not usually go away with antibiotics. Ask your ENT doctor to check you for balloon sinoplasty.
It's the smog from all the cars we drive. That's the price to pay for driving and exalt poison air from each car into the same air we breathe. Our lung. It's in the air. It's non es-capable. Unless you live in suburbs or somewhere not too much people driving. America has the most Acid reflux and throat infection, and why? because the cars people!!!
Nice try there pumpkin. The US is nearly the only country that complies with most of the pollution laws the rest of the world espouses. There are plenty of third world countries that are more or less in compliance only because they don't make anything.
You need to find a new religion to preach about.

I used to have the same problem for years. But I finally went to a doctor that diagnosed MY problem. I am lactose intolerant and anyone reading this post may be too. I didn't think that I was because I don't experience bloating or discomfort when I eat dairy, but I do get the mucus /phlegm in my throat and I was constantly coughing up stuff -worse at night. Apparently as we age, many of us lose the enzyme that breaks this stuff down. Try this. Go to the drug store - Buy some lactaid. Take it anytime you eat something remotely dairy. You'll find there is more dairy in foods than you realize. OR take it whenever you feel the sensation in your throat. Also, it helps if you cut out cheese, ice cream, milk altogether. I have switched to Lactaid Milk. Also, for me, it helps if I cut down on all sugars - not just lactose. FULL DISCLOSURE: I am not a doctor do go see yours. Happy sleeping.
I just went thru this, the doctors couldn't pinpoint the problem and kept trying different meds so I did some research on my own. After
Try cutting out all dairy products. I would see a naturalpathic doctor. I used to have UC and acid reflux. When you take four tablespoons shot apple cider vinegar with mother from Braggs then you drink your water and have a piece of bread and sit down have your meal trying to do this 3 times a day u for at least 2 weeks. Before each meal. Good luck!

I too am having this same problem. Mine started about 6 months ago. My gastro doctor has me on 40 mg of Prilosec in the morning and 40 mg of Nexium at night. This has helped the reflux but the mucus is horrible. I had lap band surgery about 3 years ago and my surgeon says that it isn't my lap band but the gasgtro doctor says that he can't figure out what the problem is and that he thinks that it is my lap band. Has anyone else with this problem had the lap band procedure done?
I was told by my gastroentestinal doctor to get a wedge pillow. I did so 3 weeks ago and the difference is amazing. I would highly recommend getting one.
